Don't know what phase the moon is in but snow surrounds the entire Hamlet herein.
Digits are not quite healed after proletarian workouts recently. It hurts to play Guitar, more than usual, and my left Trigger finger is...sore to the point. No worries the Squirrels are safe in their nests...ha, ha.
The only instrument I can operate is either the Keyboard of the HP or the No Name Upright Piano.
Facebook is seemingly irrelevant at the moment...off to Twitterville and it's minions....feasible but rather short...fitting for the shortened memory of so many.
To sum it all up,,,I am my own favorite mistake...as of late....albeit...rather comfortable in the realm of commodity transit operations.....Cigarettes are moving, as are TP and Window Washer Solvent....use wisely....or not at all.

It is that time of year again, Musicians off to Midnight Mass, the rest to packaging and vigilance.
Snow has abandoned us this year, for now...so intellectual pudding will move us beyond the White Canvass of our countryside. Much ado these last few months, a new finger breaking position in the Transportation sector, Credit Monkeys licking their fingers while Philanthropic efforts are feeding thousands throughout this night.
The new World order has Unionists on the run, their Stewards in denial. Change in the weather will accompany a change in thinking for much of the Midwest. Pensioners are the fortunate ones while the new message to youth is to put away into an IRA, those sweetheart jobs of old are fading from the landscape.
The feeling I get this time around is a mixture of joy, comfort, love and an appreciation of all around me. Family does mean the most, cherish yours or savor the memory.
Moving along, this night is young. The countryside is quiet, the town lights in the distance are turning down.
The door is open, time for the wrap. Happy Holidays all, Merry Christmas this Night.

A bit of good news for those Bearfans out and about. Devin Hester returned to form last night in Chicago. At the 180th or 181st meeting between the Bears and the Packers, the long way home Bears won the battle. It was not pretty but did put them at 3-0 for the time being.

As for me, well, battling a cold is always fun, this time no exception. Will be hitting the road, (price of gasoline not withstanding), in an honest attempt at selling non petroleum based cleaning agents for home, shop or farm.....Enzymes are the key concept.

Weatherman calls for 30 degree low this coming Saturday....button down your abode if you live north of Memphis....

Good time to whip up some gourmet soup this Fall. Start with tomatoes, garlic, vino, pepper, onions and beef broth....create your own.j

Sitting here quietly this morning, blood pressure down, clear sailing ahead, this day at least.
The Summer has been far from busy this year. Gardening has kept me moving ahead with additional yard duties and an occasional Timber cutting adventure to beef up my Woodpile.
As for gross domestic product in my locale, let's just say that until the Treasury goes broke, my short time coffers, far from being full, have not dried out completely.
A bit of Solace is always found in Music. My particular skills are adequate at best while keeping the door open for Piano adventures beyond "Feeling Alright", and improvisational Guitar discoveries.
Our Warrior babies were under one roof yesterday, Cousins; they share similar attitudes when duty calls, one knows the M4 quite well, the other JP Sousa, Mahler theory and applications as well as the ever present call to a different drummer.
We are proud of them both for their commitment to a purpose few others understand.
We wait for reports on healthcare and it's implications as the shape shifting governments of the West seek new options to kick start any machination beyond the Public Safety and Public Works arena.
Remember, week seek World Peace through strategic placement of indescribable delights known throughout the land as "Barbecue".

It is now June 8, rain outside....warm weather on the slow march northeast..
Planted more veggies three days ago, they surfaced within 48 hours. It was the result of my alleged green thumb or the amazing fusion of miracle potting soil, rain and sun.

Chipmunk sited on the perimeter, rabbits out there too, threatening but manageable thus far...

Heard recently about a wounded Vet who was having his disability checks reduced recently because he left gear and equipment on the field of battle after he was evacuated from the battle scene in Iraq. Excuse me, the Fed's sent him a bill for stuff he left in the hot zone.....insurrection, thy name is absurdity. If I was a soldier in his unit I would not be a happy camper....I get really mad when I hear this...Hopefully others from that soldiers home state have made not a few calls to the Federal authorities and representatives of his area....

The insanity continues, the States are mostly broke if not for Stimulus injections...like a junkie, our state Leaders have a history ignoring the cause of deficit spending while begging for a fix from Washington in order to put off withdrawal (Draconian budget cuts) while creating P
R smoke and mirrors for the mainstream populace.....

Finally, the Sun has appeared, so too have rabbits, woodchucks, squirrels and other garden poaching terrorists. The annual Jihad against the Greens has begun anew.

Airstrikes are out, I live in an annexed area, live ammo too, much to exciting for my neighbors so off to Chemical world I go.

Alas, using distilled vinegar, black pepper and cooking oil; put together a concoction of choice and broadcast around the area you have planted.....repeat as necessary.

Working out is one way to welcome in Spring. Snow is on the forecast for this night however....
As for getting into better condition all you have to do is follow a few steps down the basement stairway.
Using dumbells and barbells are a prerequisite for this exercise.
Perform any standard regimen for 2 to 4 sets with 15 being the ideal repetition for a reasonably fit person.
I have found that after a long Winter's absence from this regimen, one has only to challenge themselves, do some lifting, pumping and complete breathing.
Following your sets it is time to put in some aerobic work...if possible, run 3 to five miles or walk for 30 minutes 3 to 7 days a week.
At the end of this type of workout over a week's time you just might want to throw a Steak upon the Barbie to celebrate you invigorated body, mind and soul....
